Little One

We sure do love this baby. I am soooo grateful to have her! And all of my children, of course, but babies are especially sweet and such a great reminder of what is important. Little Livvy must be the sweetest baby ever! She wakes up smiling and singing. The kids all love her dearly. What would we do without her? I truly don't know! The year before her birth was a really hard year for me with all the moving, sickness, etc., but now, I feel especially blessed! We love her! Plus, I may be biased, but I think she is the cutest baby ever! :0)

Mother's Day

For Mother's Day, I wanted to have the little one's pictures taken. Livvy, and Chase too, did really good. I was pretty pleased with them overall. I felt a little rushed by the employees at the studio, so later I wished that the backdrops and props could have been a little more thought out and that maybe I could have made more suggestions, but I guess I shouldn't complain. I am just glad to have them. :) I did get to choose some cute borders for the ones I had printed, and got a disc- which is where these are from, so that part was great! I must say, I love how digital photography has revolutionized these precious moments. It is so nice to be able to share!
I used these pics also for our mother's gifts as well. I've started giving scrapbook pages to them once a year, so they have current pictures and updates on the kids. So, that was fun, too. Especially getting to include Little Livvy in there this year. It really lets me know how lucky I am to be their mom when I sit down and journal and scrapbook about them. If only I could do it a little more often...

Livvy Brynne's blessing

Yesterday, May 4th, was Livvy's blessing. What a special day! We had lots of family and friends join us, which was so nice. I think she looked so pretty and was so good. It's always such a happy day to have Wade bless one of our children! We sure are happy to have her! She also just turned 3 months old. Normally, we would have blessed her a little earlier, but where we just bought this new house, we wanted to get settled in our new ward. It worked out great and was a gorgeous day.

Rock it Out!!!

Ok, the funniest story. Chase, my hilarious little 3 year old, and I were in the grocery store on Friday and I picked up some sandwich cheese. He energetically asked, "Mommy, you're gonna buy that cheese?" I replied, "Yeah, I thought we could make some sandwiches with it." Then his excited response was, " ROCK IT OUT, MOMMY!" The lady beside me, and I both burst out laughing. I have no idea where he got that, but it was so funny. Ahh...The things kids say. :) Also, another recent funny Chaserism is that he likes to take off all of his clothes. When we tell him to go get dressed, he has started saying, "I don't want underwear, I want NONE-derwear. Again, he came up with that one and it gives us a pretty good laugh. Yesterday at church, he ran up to the pulpit twice and started singing. This child truly has a mind of his own.
