School Carnival

This weekend, we went to the kids' school carnival. There were all these huge inflatables. The kids had a blast. And surprise! surprise! I actually got a shot of chase not only looking at the camera, but smiling too! Little Brynne was so cute and all smiles the last few days as well, so I thought I'd attach the lastest pics of her. She is such a sweet baby. I feel so blessed!

Happy Birthday

I got this bag for my birthday. I just turned the big 3 0. I actually feel ok about it. I'm hoping my 30's will be great! But, Isn't this the cutest bag? My sister in law, Monica got it for me and I love it. Yes, it even has my kids pictures on the front. If anyone is interested, it came from Robert's craft. I also got a gift card to Rod Works from my dear friend, Charis. I can't wait to go use it! I would have gone right away, as this is my favorite home decor store, but I am determined to go without the assistance of little hands. Wade has been finishing finals and flying a lot the last week, so he has been busy. Maybe this next week, he will be home more so I can go spend it. I guess one good thing about getting older is that people really seem to know you well and know what you'd like! At least it worked out that way for me! Happy Birthday to me. :)

Pancake tradition

Pancakes are a very important tradition in our family. It is typically Saturday morning pancakes, and Wade is the master of this great tradition, but since this week is Spring Break, I took on the task. Though I will never measure up to Wade's talent in this area, I make up for it by using these Mickey Mouse egg tins to shape the pancakes and scrambled eggs. The kids love it. It just makes the day a little more special. Poor Chase , however, burned his finger on the pan-- hints the bag of frozen spinach and sad face. Once he ate, however, he felt a little better. Isn't it amazing the power of Mickey Mouse?

Drama Queen

Yes, that is right. Sommer, my little drama queen. And I don't mean that in a bad way. At least, not all the time. :) I recently found out that Sommer has been writing plays at school, picking "actors", teaching scripts, and putting on these plays to kids that she has solicited into being her audience during recess. All the while, never mentioning it to me. It's just not a big deal because it is something that comes so naturally to her. She is definitely my most creative and thoughtful child. And most emotional. But, I guess that suits her just fine in order to be a drama queen. Gotta love her!

My boys

Here is the difference in 2 boys. Braydon was born with the ability and desire to pose for any photo, magazine, etc. I call him my little GQ son when it comes to photography. In fact, if a camera is in sight, he will sneak into the shot very quickly! Chase, on the other hand, has many pictures such as this one. He never looks at the camera. He despises them! He has much better things to do than sit for a picture to be taken. Funny boys...

Livvy 2 months old

Here is little Livvy 2 months old. I can't believe that the time is flying by so quickly! How come that doesn't happen during pregnancy? She weighed 10 pounds 0 ounces at her Dr.s appointment. She is growing, but still so little and sweet to cuddle up with. She is such a wonderful addition to our family.
Little Livvy has a very happy spirit. She is a constant smiler and giggler.
I won't pretend that having 4 kids is always easy, but we sure wouldn't have it any other way! Well, maybe I would take a little more sleep, but other than that, life is good! :)
