By the river

Here are a couple of pics I took by the river that I thought were super sweet of Wade and the little ones. Chase really loves the water. And he loves Wade! He is a Daddy's boy, through and through! I think he looks so cute in his little overalls. :)

The Grotto/Payson Canyon

For Pioneer Day we went up Payson Canyon again. We drove to the top and stopped at all the overlooks. It is sooo gorgeous and peaceful up there. Then we went and hiked up to the Grotto- it's a small waterfall and pool that is perfect for the kids to play in. The kids had such a good time! And so did Wade and I. We just wish we could hold on to summer forever.

EEG results

I talked to the Doctor today and they said that Livvy Brynne's test results for her EEG test came back A-OK, so we are very grateful for that! And no more episodes so far and she just seems perfect to us in every way! We feel very blessed. :)

For Mama Kaye

This post is especially for my grandma, Mama Kaye. She is in Mississippi right now and she tells me that she looks at our blog every day to see the kids. She asks me to put new pictures up every time I talk to her, so here ya go , mama kaye! We love and miss you! The kids can't wait to see you again! Hurry back! This baby sure is growing! :)

I thought a lot of these pictures of the kids with funny faces might make you smile!

They sure bring us lots of smiles. :)

4th of July

This year for the 4th, Wade was in the Freedom Festival Parade in Provo escorting some veterans in his old military jeep (the Maj.) He loved it! That is so up Wade's alley because he loves military history and is the most patriotic person I know! He has so much love and respect for all the veterans and gets along so well with so many "older" guys. I sometimes think he was born in the wrong generation. :) I didn't get any pictures of them at the parade- it is sooo huge and cram packed, but here are some pics of the kids afterward. Then, we had a barbeque with my family and shot fireworks. It was fun and laid back. We usually go somewhere fun for the day of 24th (pioneer day), so we are looking forward to that this week!

EEG test

Last week, Livvy Brynne ( she goes by both names a lot) had a seizure. It was short but unexplained, so today we had to take her up to Primary Children's Hospital for an EEG test. She had been born with a velementous cord insertion ( her cord was not attatched to the placenta just right- and they said it was amazing she was born healthy without a hitch), but they are hoping now that there weren't any residual effects that stemmed from it like lack of blood flow to her brain. The good news is she is such a smart, active baby. She has met all of her developmental milestones and more that are expected at this age. She was very cooperative for the EEG and sweet the whole time- like always! She is the best baby. She had to go to sleep for the test. Hopefully we will get results in a couple of days and that there isn't any continuing problem. It is worrisome to me, of course, because we love her sooo much! But, we have faith that everything will be okay. And I think she still looks cute with all those electrodes on her head! :)
