Count Your Many Blessings

I am so proud of all of my children for their own personalities and individual strengths, but I want always remember what a good girl Sommer is. This morning she just mentioned to me in passing, " I counted my blessings last night."
Me- "You did? How many did you count?"
Sommer- "Thirty-four."

No one challenged her to do this. I don't know what sparked the idea exactly, but it was just one of those sweet, simple moments that made me so grateful to be a mom to my sweet babes.

Sweet October

Yesterday was so beautiful! I was trying to catch up on housework since I am behind from injuring my back, but when I looked at my sweet kids outside enjoying the nice weather and leaves, I put down that cloth and grabbed my camera instead.

It was time much better spent!

Pretty Baby of Mine

That is the name of one of my favorite Kindermusik songs~and I love to sing it to Livvy.

I just love how Livvy loves to dress herself. When it's time to go somewhere, she loves to "get dressed." She definitely has the cutest sense of style! Most days she strips down the clothes I have put on her and finds her own outfits from various drawers. She loves accessorizing with bags, hats, etc. etc. Oh, and babies! She usually has 2 or 3 babies in hand.

Her hair is no different. She promptly undoes the hair-styles I fix for her. (see below).
She does love to have her hair brushed. And it is getting so long now! I love it!

So, if you see us around town, please don't think my baby is a scrounge-muffin. I'm just fostering her creativity... :). Regardless of her style, I still happen to think she is the cutest baby in the whole world. I sure LOVE this child!

Autumn

What a beautiful autumn day! I, however, am not in any pics because apparently my camera has a disdain for me at the moment. That's all I want to say about that...
