Sisterly Love

This was so funny and sweet.

Livvy was lying with the kids on a pallet one evening, watching a movie, and looked up and said,
"Sommer, I don't know why, but I love you."

Sweetheart Chaserisms

In honor of Valentine's Day, and the sweetheart that he is, here are some stories about my sweet boy.

( My Valentine to Chaser.  )
A couple of weeks after our wreck, I was having a conversation with Chase, just telling him how thankful I was that he was okay and protected.  I told him that I think an angel was holding him and protecting him during the wreck.  He said,

"I think you are right, Mommy.  I think it was the same angels that were in the Lion's Den with Daniel, because they calmed the lions and I was very calm too.
They are good calmers, right, Mommy?"

This picture represents Chase sooo well.  Half- naked, studying his books, not sleeping. haha
Yes, I need a table for his new lamp.  I knew I had to get this lamp for Chase.
He LOVES maps.  It is so perfect for him!

Chase came to me and Wade the other night with a somber expression.  Here is how the conversation went:
Chase:  Sometimes I just really wish things were the way they used to be.
(Wade and I looked at each other wondering what we had done wrong)
Wade: How so bud?
Chase:  Well, I love my dinosaurs, but sometimes I really miss my cars.
Us: (laughing) Chase, you can love as many things as you want.
Wade: You can still play with your cars too!
Chase:  Well, I just don't want to hurt my dinosaur's feelings.

Awww....

Livvy's {Pinkalicious} Birthday Party-

More moments from Livvy's Birthday:
Cake! :)

                                                                          Gifts:
I love this photo.  A totally candid moment. I love her happy expressions. :)
Livvy has been begging for a Bullseye to go with her Toy Story Collection for months. She was so happy to finally get him!
                                                            Is this love or what?

Lucas and Livvy giving loves to Mama Donna.
Mama Donna and Mama Kaye gave Livvy her very own Pinkalicious doll.  And Silverlicious book too.
Sommer and Braydon did face painting for all the kids.  I think this pic with Akasha and Livs is so funny!
Lucas was so funny. This little guy has come a long way!  He just had his first birthday, and his heart is growing strong! :)
My grandma, Mama Kaye- who just turned 85 on Valentine's Day; Rebecca and Kailer (almost 3 months old).

At the end of the night, we had Just Dance (2) competitions.  SOOO Fun!
All cleaned up and pretty exhausted.  But, we had a lot of fun and are so thankful to have this little girl to celebrate!

Pinkalicious

Most of my grandiose plans for Livvy's birthday were shelved this year, but she did have a family party- and it was all about all things Pinkalicious (her favorite book).  For an ill planned event, it turned out to be one of the funnest parties ever.  I have so many pictures that I want to share, but I wanted one post just about her and how we got ready for her "Pink" day.  Sommer helped her find pink clothes while I made the pink cakes.

And I think she made one pretty little Pinkalicious.
(more pictures to come from her fun birthday party!)

Obsessed???

Certainly Not!  Just Passionate! :)

Chase's things make me smile.  Little boys are so fun!

At least the Valentine's are Finished

Between my headaches (from the wreck), appointments, and sick kids, I don't feel very accomplished these last couple of weeks.  But I did manage to copy this fun idea I found online and help the kids finish their Valentines.  The kids helped design theirs (hence Chase's dino).  Sadly, Sommer won't be able to go to school except to drop hers off.  Poor girl.  Anyway, we thought these were really fun and that's one thing I can actually say I've completed this week! :)

I'm so glad that some people are so creative, so I can benefit from their ideas.  :)

She's Three!!!

Heart waffles with Sprinkles.  Livvy got to help make them.

My baby turned 3 today.  I took a few pictures of her today while the other kids were at school.  I wanted to remember this day- exactly the way she looks on her third birthday.  She no longer looks or talks like a baby.  She is big stuff, that is for sure!  :)

And she's got the big guns to prove it!  ;)

I love these eyes!
Happy Birthday Sweetheart!
We Love You Sooooooo Much!
