Pretty Baby of Mine

That is the name of one of my favorite Kindermusik songs~and I love to sing it to Livvy.
I just love how Livvy loves to dress herself. When it's time to go somewhere, she loves to "get dressed." She definitely has the cutest sense of style! Most days she strips down the clothes I have put on her and finds her own outfits from various drawers. She loves accessorizing with bags, hats, etc. etc. Oh, and babies! She usually has 2 or 3 babies in hand.

Her hair is no different. She promptly undoes the hair-styles I fix for her. (see below).
She does love to have her hair brushed. And it is getting so long now! I love it!

So, if you see us around town, please don't think my baby is a scrounge-muffin. I'm just fostering her creativity... :). Regardless of her style, I still happen to think she is the cutest baby in the whole world. I sure LOVE this child!

15 months...

My little Olivia Brynne, my beautiful little daughter, is really on the move now and workin' hard to keep up with the other kids. At 15 months now, she is finally 18 pounds (so still little), but she has the biggest smile! I can not even express the joy she brings into my life each and every day!
Spring came at perfect timing (thank you!) because Livs just loves to play. That is pretty much what we do lately- enjoy the sunshine, parks, grass, flowers, the pond, bikes, etc. (we like to block out the daily housework). It has been so fun watching Livvy walk and talk and play, play, play! And the cutest thing is when she sings. She loves to sing and dance! It is sooo cute!
Some of her cute words right now are: Baydon (Braydon), CHASE! (loudly), Ivvy (Livvy), Bampa (grandpa), peek-a-boo, clap, no, Awww.... , who dat? (who's that?), kiki (kitty), dog, pup-pup, bird
Her Favorite food words: nana (banana), pi-zza, milk, egg, cook-cook (cookie), baba
Lots and Lots of Animals Sounds: Meow, Quack, baa, moo, arf, neigh, tweet (sounds like a squeak really)

Lovin' the slide at the park. It is so fun to play with a brother!

Can't you just see how much fun she is having?

Livvy loves to ride the trike. It pretty much runs away with her, but she is not deterred.

Then lastly at Kindermusik! Like I said, this baby LOVES music! She is such a fun addition to my classes. She participates so well- even when she is by far the youngest in class. She's just such a good baby all the way around! I'm so glad we get to do this together!

Shake, Shake,Shake, Shake it, baby!
Peek- A boo! (Click on this picture and see what's in the middle)
This was one of those perfect candid moments! We were floating the parachute up in the sky and down to the floor as a class when Livvy crawled under and stuck her head through. Somehow, miraculously, my slow camera grabbed the shot. It was so cute!!! I'm so glad I got a picture of it. The whole class was laughing. :)

Olivia Brynne, you'll never know how much I love you! You are the perfect example that some of the best things are born out of opposition (hard pregnancy and circumstances while I was pregnant). Heavenly Father knew you were just what we needed! I love you soooo much! Thanks for coming into my life! Mommy

Kindermusik Christmas Celebration

Here are a few pictures I was able to snap at our class finale/ celebration for the semester. This week's classes were the funnest! I wish we had a whole month to celebrate Christmas! As you can see, we sang "Rudolph" and many other Christmas activities. One of my favorite activities in my Our Time and Imagine That! Classes was when we reigned the kids up with bells and scarves around their waists (acting as Rudolph) and had the moms pulling the reigns and act as their coaches as we galloped around to "Over the River and through the woods". It was so cute! I have the cutest kids in my classes, not to mention the cutest moms too! There were so many fun times that next time, I'll have to have Wade come and take some pictures while I teach so maybe one day I can make an album for my kids to see and remember our fun- filled days at Kindermusik. Also, Cammy, Jen, & I will be starting a blog this next semester, so you'll have to take a peek when we get that all constructed! Anyway, here are a few pics of our class celebration. Wish I had more, but it was a busy week, but oh, so fun!

A Good Day

I LOVE being a mom! My kids are my life! And I love this stage of life! But, being a mom is hard work and can be monotonous at times. So, I am thankful for our Kindermusik days! It gets us out of the house and my kids learn and love it so, so much! It makes me thankful that I have a job that lets me "play" with my kids. Not that it isn't hard work! There is a lot of memorization and study involved. But, I do love being a Kindermusik teacher. I really believe in what I am doing to benefit children and their parents so much! I've seen too much proof within my own children. Music and movement is so good for them. Here are some pictures at Kindermusik (after class actually!) and after school I had promised Sommer we would go to the park. Yes, there are many days when I scrub, cook, bake, check homework, bathe kids, read, clean, clean, etc. etc. until the day is gone. In fact, most days are like that, but Mondays and Wednesdays have a little more fun built in. So, I decided to share what these days look like to us! I hope my kids will have as good of memories of these days as I will!
