This song makes me so emotional. It makes me miss my roots in Mississippi and think of my own kids and how I hope they will remember their childhood one day. I just love this song so much!
I seriously love this song too! It made me want to take pictures of the rooms in our house just the way they are, so my kids could remember everything about growing up here. Love it!

This song really is so touching, and is just one of those that resonates with so many... since we all have that "house that built us" somewhere.
Lucky for me I still get to visit mine, which I recognize, is a really special gift.
I remember Cassie telling me the same thing about this very song. It's definitely a goodie!
